Kevin Mason is the co-founder and managing partner of Intensity Media. Intensity Media is a marketing company that specializes in social media and digital networking.

For over 25 years, Mason served as a member of the media, with stops at radio stations in Norfolk, Roanoke, Charlotte, and Indianapolis. He is well known for his decade-long tenure as the program director for award-winning country radio station WQMX as well operations manager for its legendary sister station WAKR in Akron, OH.

Mason and his wife started Intensity Media in 2001 as an event marketing company but shifted the company’s focus to more of a full-service music and media consultancy soon after.

In 2006 Mason made the move to Nashville where he served as General Manager for Rust Records and their country music social networking website, the Digital Rodeo. Funding problems forced Rust to close and sell the Digital Rodeo prior to launch. At that point, Mason a long-time permission marketing advocate and fan of social networking quickly saw the benefit of a music business marketing company that specialized in marketing music using social media and decided to focus his full-time efforts on Intensity Media.

In addition to his work with his Intensity Media clients, Mason also handles all of the “top-secret” marketing aspects for Nine North Records and Turnpike Music helping Nashville’s first virtual labels concentrate on finding new areas to expose their artist partners.
